本會使命
Our Mission
奧克蘭中區 ( 包括 Mt Roskill, Mt Albert, Epsom, Remuera ) 是華人喜歡聚居的地方。根據 2018 年的人口調查統計，華人人口有 42,141 人，是總居民 (316,779) 的 13.3%，而且有不斷上升的跡象。眼見這龐大的需要，加上中國內地的移民愈來愈多，在此建立雙語、信仰純正、傳講聖經真理的教會，實在是刻不容緩的事。
Auckland Central Districts that includes Mt. Roskill, Mt. Albert, Epsom, Remuera are popular suburbs of Chinese families. According to the 2018 census, there are a population of 316,779 people in these areas, of them 42,141 are Chinese. We envision that more Chinese families will move into the area, the spiritual harvest-field is going to be bigger and bigger. It is our vision to establish a bilingual church that preach the Gospel and teaching based on the Bible.
盼望每一位本會的成員都同有一個異象，同有一個負擔，彼此勉勵，完成主給我們的使命：

We hope that our church members share the same vision, burden and encourage each other to fulfil the mission entrust by our Lord Jesus Christ.

To let every Chinese in the districts to be able to learn about the Gospel.

To establish a church that is based on beliefs and teachings of the Bible.

To nurture every believer to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

To become a church with Missionary at heart, preaching the Gospel here and overseas.
本會簡史
林維東牧師夫婦於二零零二年初抵奧克蘭，在宣道會中信堂侍奉；四月間前往探訪住中區的會友時，發現中區乃 華人聚居的地方，尤以中國移民為甚，深感有必要在 這地區開荒，建立一所福音純正、傳講真理的教會，讓他們得以認識上帝的愛。及後在彼此交談中，住中區的 梁樹基弟兄夫婦及黃文熙弟兄夫婦也早有同一負擔。故他們三家分別為此事禱告了幾個月，認明是主的心意後，隨即於二零零二年十ㄧ月開始策劃有關事宜。
尋找合適的地點是最大的困難，感謝主，中區宣道會終於能租用 Epsom Presbyterian Church，而林師母願意擔 任半職傳道人，並於二零零三年四月十三日的下午，憑著信心，開始第一次以華、粵雙語進行的主日崇拜；同時， 黎一萍及司徒雯兩位姐妹加入了開荒的 行列。
為了能在上午舉行主日崇拜，故於二零零五年三月六日遷往 Cornwall Park District School Hall 為聚會的地點。 梁樹基先生及楊廣生先生先後於二零零六年五月及二零零七年四月受聘為本會半職傳道人，而二零零七年的三月 份也開始了兩個單語主日崇拜，並以英文幻燈片為輔助。2009 年 10 月份開始了為青少年而設的英語崇拜。
中區宣道會乃紐西蘭宣道聯會的成員教會。
